Hawaii’s Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival & Health Fair
The Hawaii Hispanic Heritage Festival is an annual event in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month. It is brought to you by Hawaii Hispanic Heritage Festival and Events, Alma Latina Productions, The Hispanic Community and the City and County of Honolulu.
Hawaii’s Hispanic Community celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 with the 26th Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival & Health Fair. This free event is open to the public and encourages families, students, business owner’s and visitors to explore new rhythms, exotic tastes, mesmerizing dances and a variety of culturally inspired beers and cocktails.
This year’s theme is “Honoring our Heritage. Building our Future”. The festival is taking attendees back 26 years to Honolulu Hale, the original festival venue. At this family friendly event, there will be lots of live entertainment, food booths, crafts, cultural displays, art, specialty booths, Latin dance workshops, children’s activities and information from different community and health agencies. New to this year’s festival is a beer tent featuring an assortment of brews and tequilas to enjoy with live music.
This year’s Festival is on October 15, 2016 to be held at the Honolulu Hale on the Grounds of the Frank F. Fasi Civic Center
